Mostly heads-down on interface design for existing clients right now, the ongoing kind, where you know the product cold and just keep making it sharper. Nearly all of it runs through Claude these days: Opus for the heavy lifting, and lately Fable. The stack keeps getting better. So does the work.
I’m also building Ink Finder on the regular, my own tattoo-shop platform. These days it’s as much direction, growth, and outreach as it is features, and I’m working with pilot shops, places with real, long-standing history, to get it right where it counts.
Off the screen, the big one this year is finishing my house, a self-build, with my own hands. I’ve learned an absurd amount, earned the matching sore muscles and small cuts, and I’m tiling the shower soon.
Most free hours go to the garden, a large-scale plot and food forest I’m growing with Darren. Custom trellises are next, and there’s always something new going in; just put in a Gulf Beauty plum and an Australian finger lime. (Try miracle fruit, then bite a lemon. It rearranges your brain.)
And I’m deep in Minecraft with Chloe, plotting a trip to finally get Ivan and the girls in the same place.
