A hall-of-famer’s digital home

The official home for Grant Hill: Hall of Famer, broadcaster, owner, author. Brand, site, and content system for a basketball icon who keeps it with one person instead of an agency.

The brief

Grant Hill is a basketball Hall of Famer, two-time NCAA champion, Olympic gold medalist, seven-time All-Star, broadcaster, team owner, and author. He needed one official home for all of it. The place his career, his ventures, his community work, and his story live, under his own name and on his own terms.

What I built

The brand and the site: a clean, dignified digital home that holds the whole arc. Biography and career, ventures and ownership, community work, the photo and video archive, news and events. A content system simple enough that the right things get updated when they matter, structured enough that it never reads like a fan page. The design gets out of the way and lets the legacy carry it.

The trust

This is the part I’m proudest of. Grant Hill could hand this to any agency in the country. He keeps it with me. For a figure at his level the official site is a reputation asset, and trusting one person with it is a relationship, not a transaction. That relationship has outlasted teams, eras, and a dozen redesign cycles elsewhere.

When it matters

A brand home like this is built to be stable, correct, and current on the things that count, not to churn every week. When his memoir Game came out, we featured it. When something real happens, it gets handled. The rest of the time it does its quiet job: the definitive front door to a remarkable career. You can see it live at granthill.com.
